Laughter Benefits

for Individuals

Ever since Norman Cousin's groundbreaking book in 1979,

Anatomy of an Illness, people have increasingly recognized the mental and physical benefits of laughter. Some examples:

* blood pressure is lowered

* the immune system is strengthened

* healing after surgery is promoted

* brain chemistry changes for the better

In short, medical research is proving that laughter makes all the good stuff better, and all the bad stuff less bad.  There's a reason nature designed us to like laughing: it's good for us in every way!

We are coming to understand more and more that mind and body are interconnected. One of these connections is laughter. Laughter doesn't have to be dependent on humor or comedy. You don't have to be dependent on somebody else to "make you laugh".

Instead you'll experience your own power to bring the benefits of laughter into your life.
